This piece embodies so many different things all at once. The scenery is peaceful and serene, the sunset is beautiful especially how it uses so many different colors to paint the environment, a calm river running through the middle of picture, and then the sister sitting on the swing taking it all in … every time I look at this piece I get lost thinking about what this sister is potentially thinking about. Surrounded by all that beauty, what must be going through her head? Is she healing from grief? Is she happy with life? Does she have a clear or meditative mind state?  Is she brainstorming? Is this a daily ritual? There’s just so many things I think about when I look at this painting. I love getting lost in all of the colors and all of the possibilities.
