The Top 5 Conversation

The top 5 conversation has and will always be one of the most debated and enjoyable conversation within our community. There has been so many great artists and throughout history they have created so many master pieces that is virtually impossible to create a list of the actual top 5 best bodies of work for any category or genre, especially considering that art is subjective and personal to the consumer/observer. Therefore, instead of saying Top 5 greatest “anything” of all time… I like to couch the statement/question as “Top 5 FAVORITE” … in this way I think we can get a clearer view of what it is that people would like to capture or articulate when having this conversation. Art is so personal to the consumer and a lot of our opinions are linked to memories and feelings these projects made us feel or memories that are forever linked to when the projects came out. Either way, this is a topic that for me will never get old. That being said, below is a broken down list of my top five favorite rap, r&b, miscellaneous records, movies, and television series.  (For reference, 1) denotes my all time favorite in that genre)
